MODEL U6 - S6 - D6
Among the advantages of differential pressure flowmeters there is, above all, the scale linearity that grants good measurements even at low flowrates, and the economical convenience of diameters higher than 3”, instead of the classical Asameters. The reading scale range is 1:8 and the maximum fluid viscosity acceptable is 10 Cp. From this point of view, the differential pressure flowmeter is more convenient because the glass tube is smaller in size and cheaper. For a correct installation are required: straight inlet run minimum of 20 X DN and outlet run minimum 5 X DN.
Application fields: Wine industry. Chemistry. Petrol. Water plants.
How to choose the right KINETIC ASAMETER?
The Kinetic Asameter are divided into two categories:
Incorporated execution (U6 and S6 model)
Metering glass tube is connected with the main orifice, so reading is done directly on the pipeline. They are made of cast iron (model U6); polysulphone and PVC (model S6). For model U6 the primary and secondary orifice and the float stoppers are made of s.s. AISI 316L, the float is made of s.s. AISI 316L for liquids, aluminium for gases and the metering tube is made of borosilicate glass. Available execution with min. and max. flow switch Namur inductive type with CENELEC approval and intrinsically safe EEX ia II C T6 or Reed Bistable type for model S6.
Remote execution (MODEL D6)
 It is used when it is not possible to read directly on pipeline the flow value. Viscous fluid can be measured with maximum viscosity 5-10 Cp. Wetted parts are in s.s. AISI 316L or P.P. or P.V.D.F.; the primary and secondary orifice and the float stoppers are made of s.s. AISI 316L or titanium, hastelloy C, monel, P.V.D.F. on request, the float is made of s.s. AISI 316L for liquids, aluminium for gases and the metering tube is made of borosilicate glass. Available execution with min. and max. flow switch Namur inductive type with CENELEC approval and intrinsically safe EEX ia II C T6.
